                                                                                                                               Garo Minassian’s journey began in Florence, where he trained in classical culinary technique and fell in love with the rhythm of Italian dining—beautiful food, thoughtful wine, and conversations that naturally linger late into the evening. That philosophy has guided every step of his career.
                                                                                                                               For Garo, family is the foundation of hospitality. Whether it’s his own family, the team behind the scenes, or the guests who return night after night, his goal has always been to create a place where people feel they belong. He believes restaurants are at their best when they bring the community together—fostering connection, warmth, and a sense of shared experience that feels like a family of its own.
                                                                                                                                    For 25 years, Garo owned Scalini’s in Del Mar, Harry's Bar in La Jolla, then later went on to open Parc Bistro, known for its refined yet welcoming approach to French dining. This restaurant is the next chapter—the sister restaurant of Parc Bistro—sharing the same dedication to excellence while carving out a personality of its own.
                                                                                                                                  Our menu features a variety of classic French dishes alongside more modern interpretations, always guided by seasonality and quality ingredients sourced as locally as possible. Executive Chef Benjamin Navarro is an expert in French techniques and takes great care in preparing each dish to perfection.
                                                                                                                           As a trained sommelier, Garo believes wine is not simply paired, but felt. Our wine list is carefully curated—classic, seductive, and always meant to enhance the moment rather than overpower it.
